Legionella Risk Assessments

Our expert team will begin conducting thorough inspection of your water system. We will assess key factors that could promote Legionella growth, including water temperature, system design, stagnation points, and cleanliness of tanks. Using this information, we will identify potential risks and hazards, then provide a detailed report outlining our findings and recommend suitable control measures. These may include temperature management, regular cleaning and disinfection protocols and monitoring procedures to comply with the latest health and safety regulations.

BS8558 Building & Mains Chlorination

BS8558 Chlorination is a recommended process for disinfecting and ensuring the microbiological safety of water supplies, especially during the commissioning or repair of a new water installations. The process involves introducing a concentrated solution of Chlorine into the water system and letting sit for one hours contact time. Then flushing all the chemical residual out of system using the mains water supply.

Cold Water Storage Vessel Clean & Chlorination

Internally cleaning and Chlorinating cold water storage vessels is a crucial part of a effective Legionella management programme. Cleaning the tank removes sediment, debris and biofilm to ensure the water quality is satisfactory. Vessels should be inspected six monthly as part of the legionella regime.

RPZ Valve Testing / Installation

Reduced pressure zone testing is a vital procedure to ensure the integrity of your water systems backflow prevention measures. RPZ valves are designed to protect the potable water supply from contamination due to backflow, which can occur when there is a sudden pressure drop in pressure in the main water supply.

Water Quality Monitoring

We will provide water quality monitoring which is fully compliant with ACop L8 and HSG274 Part 2:, this is to include the temperature testing at sentinel points within the system, inspections of all storage vessels, descaling of all showers heads and spray taps and Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) servicing.

Water Softener Installation / Servicing

Installing water softeners is a effective solutions for sites dealing with hard water, which can cause scale build-up, reduce the efficiency of water using appliances and increase maintenance cost. Our team provides expert installation of water softeners tailored to your specific water usage and system requirements.

Water softener servicing is essential to ensure the continues effectiveness and longevity of your water softening system. Over time, the resin beds become saturated with minerals and the internal pistons and seals perish which leads to system efficiency decline.
